Toddler sister embracing her newborn sibling during a Tampa family photography session

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

A Few Common Questions

How far in advance should I book a newborn session?

As soon as you know you’re expecting, if possible. Newborn sessions are timed to the first two weeks of life, and availability in that window fills up fastest — especially in fast-growing areas like Wesley Chapel and Riverview.

Do you photograph on location or only in-studio?

Newborn sessions are typically in-studio for safety and lighting control. Maternity, milestone, and family sessions are available in-studio or on location — at a spot like Hyde Park Village, Bayshore Boulevard, or a Westchase park, depending on the photographer serving your area.

What should we expect at a newborn session?

Expect it to run longer than you’d guess — often two to four hours — with breaks built in for feeding, soothing, and outfit changes, all at the baby’s pace, not a fixed schedule.

How does pricing work if you’re a network, not one studio?

Exact pricing depends on which photographer is matched to your session, the session length, and whether you want digitals, prints, or both. We’ll walk you through real numbers once we know what you’re booking — see our Pricing page for what affects the total.

What’s the best age for a newborn session vs. a milestone session?

Newborn sessions are best within the first two weeks of life. Milestone sessions typically happen around six months (sitting up) and again near the first birthday (cake smash).

Do you serve areas outside your listed service areas?

Often, yes — reach out anyway. We regularly place families outside our core list, especially for maternity and family sessions, and many parents are happy to make the drive in for a newborn session.
